Traffic deaths in the United States have jumped almost 14% this year alone. This is in contrast to a decrease in traffic deaths over the last 5 years. The National Highway Traffic and Safety Administration estimated that approximately 7,630 people have died in the first three months of 2012, up from 6,720 in the first quarter of 2011. When someone dies in a vehicle crash it is generally one of the most life changing events that can happen to the victim’s family and loved ones.
